This is the BowShaker
Made of furniture grade PVC pipe, the bow shaker is about 3 ft long, 3 lbs and 1.5 inches in diameter. It's shaped like a bow, making it easier to hold and easily separates and reattaches into 3 pieces. It is a combination percussion instrument and fitness product, created by a physical therapist / percussionist.
FLEXIBILITY
The BowShaker breaks down into 3 separate units with a simple twist and pull. Each unit is about 1 ft long and weighs 1 pound. This comes in handy for personalizing your workout as well as storage and transport. In addition, little ones or anyone with a weaker grip can still exercise. Let's see you do that with a standard dumb-bell!

The problem has always been that when you combine the two, music has been incidental to exercise when it should be the other way around. The BowShaker is first and foremost a percussion instrument! It should be shaken madly to your favorite "shake yer booty" tunes! For rhythm is in us and has been for thousands of years ... so live in the rhythm! BE IN THE BAND! NOT THE AUDIENCE! Participate. SHAKER HISTORY
Although the BowShaker is new enough to receive a US patent, the shaker itself has been around for millenia. It is still used as an integral ceremonial instrument by indiginous peoples all over the world as well as most well known modern latin/rock bands. So wheather you're shaking to your own personal rhythm or frightening away evil spirits, friend, the shaker ain't goin nowhere any time soon.
